Christmas Door Decorating Contest Winners!

With the introduction of  American-style Christmas, Our Little Roses Girls love to decorate with thoughtful imagination. We had a door decorating contest this year and here are the winning doors. There are many spaces that get decorated as well as their Christmas tree! 

The Our Little Roses girls celebrate the visitation of the Three Wise Men who brought gifts to baby Jesus 12 days after his birth. In Honduras this occasion is always separate from the celebration of Christmas.

Congratulations Dr. Jensy Melonado!

This is Dr. Jensy Melonado an Our Little Roses graduate and our newly qualified dentist who begins her practice at OLR's Holy Family Dental Clinic. We are very pleased with her accomplishment. The opening of the clinic will no doubt help preserve the teeth of many who never before visited a dentist. She will also teach good dental care to make sure children she examines will develop good teeth cleaning habits and maintain a bright glowing smile.

Dear Friends of Our Little Roses,

We pray that you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving Day. We thank God we had the opportunity to celebrate Thanksgiving Day, which is not a typical holiday in Honduras. We thank God for the many blessings we receive every day. We also give thanks for everybody around the world that prays for us, and that are part of Our Little Roses Ministries. And also a special thank you to our friend and supporter Tom Sherrow for donating two big turkeys for the dinner.

Wall Repair Update

This is the latest picture of the rebuilt wall (to replace the section that collapsed after a tropical storm last spring). The rolled barbed wiring and extended screen on top still needs to be added, and once completed the wall will be painted. 

Celebrating Honduras Day Photo

Our Little Roses Girls who attend Holy Family bilgual school, a part of Our Little Roses Ministries, are dressed in Honduran native dresses to celebrate Honduras Day. As part of the celebration the girls perform Honduran dances before parents and guests of the school.
